Who I am

I'm a fun, bubbly person who runs on creativity — happiest cooking something new, planning the next trip with my friends, or just spending time with my family.

My dad is my role model, and I'm chasing something big: to make or break it, to be a respected name people remember. For me the sky isn't the ceiling — it's the starting line.

Digital Financial Integration & Poverty in India's Street Vendors

A multi-method, multilingual study of whether the digital-payment boom actually reaches the vendor at the bottom — and what it does to their income. Built vendor-level, market by market, across two cities that aggregate statistics would treat as one.

The anchor study: UPI & PM SVANidhi among street vendors. Complete — paper in writing.

Microfinance & UPI across food, textiles, services & dry-goods vendors, with a financial self-efficacy scale.

What I'm finding

+22%

UPI-adopting Kolkata vendors earn ~22% higher daily revenue than comparable non-adopters — and the gap tracks psychological readiness, not infrastructure or income.

Trust is fragile: a single fraud or failed transaction can close the door permanently — a hard challenge for grievance-redressal policy.

23%

Only 23% awareness of PM SVANidhi — and for women, the binding constraint on adoption wasn't literacy. It was who physically held the phone.

The aim: build a vendor-level, multilingual dataset on digital-payment adoption and financial inclusion across India's informal economies.
